Climbing Everest

It is evident that the positive impact on the children and adolescents was profound during the "Climbing Everest" camp for the Goiabinhas, children aged 7 to 10, from the São Paulo groups. The program, specifically designed for this age group, took into account their adaptability and need for support, promoting appropriate challenges and the effectiveness of teamwork in overcoming fears and obstacles. The climb symbolized the challenges of life, encouraging reflection on resilience and overcoming adversity, always aligned with lessons in life and faith.

Each day presented a new challenge, allowing for the continuous building of self-confidence and skills. The nighttime game helped the children face their fear of the dark, highlighting the importance of teamwork and personal growth.

The processing moments were extremely important, allowing the children to reflect on their experiences, developing communication and critical thinking skills. These moments were crucial for internalizing the lessons learned and fostering self-awareness.

The children demonstrated charisma, dedication, and a tremendous ability to overcome challenges. They learned to lead, work in teams, face fears, and make decisions.

The practice of feedback was essential, providing an environment of continuous growth. Facing adverse conditions, such as the cold and being away from their parents, helped to strengthen the participants' resilience and independence.

The results were extraordinary, with the children pushing beyond their comfort zones and showing significant commitment. The practical experiences and ongoing reflection fostered holistic development in the "Goiabinhas," preparing them not only for future camps but also for the challenges of everyday life.

The Radicals team is right in their anticipation for the next edition, knowing that these moments of learning are essential for personal growth and the formation of solid values in children and adolescents.

The camp not only fulfilled its objectives but also exceeded expectations, highlighting the power of a well-structured environment where challenges become opportunities for growth and the community serves as support for overcoming obstacles.
