At Radicais’ Camp, we experience a transformative journey with each edition.
In our last camp, with the theme "Liberdade" (Freedom), we immersed ourselves in a deep reflection on the true meaning of this concept that is so important in our lives.
During the days of the camp, we had the opportunity to lead activities and discussions that helped us understand the essence of freedom. We focused on showing that true freedom doesn't lie in doing what we want without limits, but in finding fulfillment and purpose in life through our connection with Jesus. Libertinism, on the other hand, is just a passing illusion that can lead us down empty and destructive paths.
Our participants, children and teenagers, were able to realize the importance of understanding true freedom from an early age. Through devotionals, activities, group dynamics and moments of reflection, we emphasized how the search for freedom in Christ can guide them in all areas of their lives. We learned together that this freedom translates into making wise decisions, respecting others, cultivating healthy relationships and walking a path of purpose.
The experiences lived during the camp had a significant impact on the lives of each participant. Many shared testimonies of transformation and a change of perspective. By understanding true freedom in Jesus, they realized that there is a freedom that goes beyond circumstances, social pressures and the temptations of the world.
This discovery has the capacity to shape character and exert a positive influence on the choices children and teenagers make throughout their lives.
It was an incredible opportunity to convey to our young people the importance of understanding the difference between true freedom in Jesus and the false freedom of licentiousness. By teaching them to seek this genuine freedom, we are enabling them to live a full, conscious life committed to the principles and values of the Kingdom of God. May this experience echo in their hearts and accompany them throughout their lives, guiding them to make decisions that reflect the true freedom found in Jesus.
